Educational Online Seminars

Restoring Balance Consulting provides an educational online seminar for community members, if you have community members that have unresolved trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, or have recently experienced trauma, this 5-hour seminar will provide the necessary skills to the participants, to better understand trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder, provide healing exercises and a self-regulation exercise that can be used to manage/reduce the traumatic stress in the mind and body during the healing process.

Trauma Informed Care Training

Restoring Balance Consulting offers Trauma Informed Care Training to community workers. This 1-day Trauma Informed Care training is an important training for community workers to understand trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, healing and self care exercises, and communication skills. If your Indigenous, First Nation, Inuit or Metis community, organization or agency, works with survivors of trauma, this training is important to enhance the workers skills in working with trauma survivors.

Trauma Resources

Restoring Balance Consulting provides the necessary resources needed to assist Indigenous, First Nations, Inuit, and Metis communities in educating community workers, caregivers, and community members, to better understand trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, healing, and communication skills. Restoring Balance Consulting has provided over 400 workshops/seminars throughout Canada. Gerald Kiesman/Owner-Facilitator has developed useful and practical material that can be used by community workers and caregivers who work with trauma survivors.
